| When I was a puppy I made my grand entrance
at the end of April 1999 and I only weighed six pounds. At first I
was not sure if I could stay, but I sure won my Dad's heart. I was
very little, but I was also very cute.

| I was 60 pounds and was only eight months old. If you look at the pictures below, you can see I have always been a very handsome dog. At least that is what my "dad" says. Here I am playing with my friend Nanook. He's a handsome dog too. | |

| I get the run of the house,
and every day I just lay around waiting to be fed, played with and exercised.
Aren't you humans just jealous of my situation? By the way, I
had some buddies in the movie Snow Dogs. Aren't we a great breed? |

| But perhaps most important is that we are a working breed of dogs typically used to pull sleds during the Winter months in areas with a lot of snow. The following is a 1941 cover from Canada that was pulled by dog sled mailed from Quebec to New York and inscribed "PAR COMETIQUE VIA LABRADOR DOGTEAM MAIL".
